M.E.S. recently provided a project update to both our Thiess project partners, and to the Queensland Minister for Resources, Hon. Scott Stewart MP, at our Brisbane facility. It was a great opportunity to present the environmental and social benefit that the Dual Fuel (Mine Haul Truck) project will immediately achieve with the first roll of the wheel.

This project will deliver instant de-carbonisation of the haul fleet, remove thousands of diesel deliveries off the roads, and use incidental & fugitive gas from the Bowen Basin mines that would normally be flared or released through mining activities.

Thiess’ strategy and commitment to ESG is being driven from the leadership through to operations.
