Craig is an international executive with more than 25 years experience in marketing, strategy and portfolio, trading and risk management, mergers and acquisitions, strategic procurement and supply chain operations. Most recently led the turnaround of Shell Australia’s Downstream Marketing businesses with a $17 billion per annum turnover, increasing annual EBIT by more than 25% in three years.

Formerly Vice President Downstream Global Projects for Shell International completing more than 50 business turnaround projects in Shell operating units across the globe, including the successful integration of Shell’s $1.8 billion acquisition of Pennzoil-Quaker State.

Craig held 9 Public Company Directorships during 2001-2013. He is a former Director of the Australian Institute of Petroleum, Nationwide Oil (a Shell / Transpacific Industries JV) and 15 Shell Group Company Directorships including Shell Company of Australia Limited and Shell Refining Australia Limited. Craig graduated from Insead’s (Fontainebleau Campus, France) Executive Leadership Programme in 2005.

Derek spent 15 years with Energy Developments pioneering technologies and business developments in landfill gas, coal seam methane, CNG and LNG.

Derek’s roles ranged through electrical and controls engineering, commissioning of power stations and gas facilities, operations management, business development in Australia and US, culminating in an executive role as EGM – Business Development for Energy Developments Ltd.

16 years corporate finance experience including debt origination, capital raisings, with large multinational organisations including HSBC, BSG and AGL, managing teams across the Asia, US, UK and Australia.

Most recently spent 5 years with Sime Darby as Treasurer of the Hastings Deering Group.

Jayne is an experienced corporate lawyer with a particular focus on mining and resources. Prior to MES, Jayne was a corporate law partner in the national law firm Gadens in the Brisbane office.

She was lead partner on a large number of merger and acquisitions, joint venture transactions, equity raising, and mining contracts winning various peer to peer review awards along the way.
